Pan-African Parliament (PAP) urged Friday the African Union (AU) and the international community to impose economic sanctions on Morocco to get it to comply with the international resolutions supporting Saharawi people’s right to self-determination, Saharawi news agency SPS said, citing a diplomatic source.

Western Sahara is a former spanish colony invaded by Morocco in 1975 after spanish withdrawal.
