Moroccan authorities of occupation attack Sahrawi child in occupied city of Smara

Smara (Occupied Territories) November 11, 2011 (SPS) - the Moroccan authorities of occupation attacked Tuesday night Sahrawi minor Dihan Belah Bouhali and beaten him up, following the breakup of activities of the Intifada in the occupied city of Smara demanding the right of the Saharawi people to freedom and independence, according to the Ministry of the Occupied Territories and Communities Abroad.

Leaflets had been distributed demanding an end to the occupation of Western Sahara by Morocco and rejecting the Moroccan elections in the occupied territories.

The city of Smara, like the rest of the occupied territories of Western Sahara, witnesses a heavy security presence in different neighborhoods, in addition to intimidation tactics pursued by a Moroccan security task force against the Sahrawis. (SPS)
