Minister of Cooperation concludes working visit to Province of Extremadura

Madrid, Nov 5, 2011 (SPS) - The Minister of Cooperation, Mr. Salek Baba Hasana, concluded Thursday a working visit to the Spanish province of Extremadura, where he meet heads of municipalities and associations supporting the Saharawi people, as reported by the Polisario Front representation in Extremadura.

Mr. Salek Baba Hasana visited several government places and met high-level figures, including Mr. José Antonio Monago, president of the Regional Government, accompanied by Chargee of Agriculture sector.

In the Municipalities of Padaju and Katherine, the Saharawi minister and the delegation accompanying him met their mayors, where they discussed the bilateral relations and their contribution to the solidarity action with the Saharawi refuges.

The delegations also held talks with the president of the Regional Parliament of Extremadura, secretary general of the Federation of Extremadura municipalities, regional coordinator of the United Left, Mayor of the region’s capital (Meriva). It also attended extended working sessions in the University of Extremadura, Province of Padaju and headquarters of the Association of Solidarity with the Saharawi people. (SPS)
