Conclusion of ARTifariti 2011: participants express firm resolve to support the Saharawi cause

February 27th School (Saharawi refugee camps), Oct 30, 2011 (SPS) - The V edition of the International Art Encounter in Western Sahara (known as: ARTifariti) held from Oct 05 to 30 concluded its works Sunday in the Saharawi refugee camps, by a firm determination of the participants to continue support the just cause of the Saharawi people.

“We hope that we can celebrate ARTifariti in the Free Western Sahara,” said the artists who thanked by the Saharawi people for their solidarity.

On other hand, they expressed hope that European aid workers, who were kidnapped by terrorist group, would be liberated sooner.

The Encounter, which is an international act of solidarity with the struggle of the Saharawi people, organized by the Saharawi Ministry of Culture in collaboration with the Association of Friends of the Sahrawi People in Seville, Spain, (AAPSS).

ARTifariti 2011 witnessed the participation of artists from Colombia, Chile, Mexico, Japan, USA, Italy, Congo, Algeria, Spain and the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic. It also marked by opening a number of workshops in the fields of art, drawing, topography, computer, photography and theatre.

The presentation of the next of ARTifariti will be in February in Seville during the celebration of the 36th conference of the European Conference of Coordination and Support to the Sahrawian People (EUCOCO). (SPS)

January 22, 2017 (SSB ) —- In recent time the King of Morocco has been giving away a lot of money as seen in the following instances— on October 20, 2016, WIKILEAKS leaks that the Moroccan King Promises $12 Million Dollars to meet with Hillary Clinton. The above WIKILEAKS followed the report on Oct 18, 2016 of the visit by Morocco’s King Mohammed VI to African countries, which was said to be the first of its kind since coronation in 1999. The visit followed a lengthy letter to African Union (AU) summit in Rwanda in which King Mohammed VI of Morocco declared his country’s intention to become a member of the union after the long time break with the body.
